Broker’s Comments

This late-model Rustler 33 was sold new by us and delivered in the spring of 2017. She was also displayed at the Düsseldorf Boat Show in January of that year. Very striking with her British Racing Green hull colour and optional inlaid wood coaming, she has contrasting non-skid decks.

JULIA was outfitted to a high specification, featuring a white-painted carbon mast and boom, a full interior with a galley module, and a Raymarine electronics package with autopilot. The sails, by Penrose, are made from triradial sailcloth. The jib is easily furled with an underdeck furler, while the mainsail has full battens, lazy jacks, and a beige stackpack sail cover. All deck gear is top-of-the-line, provided by Harken.

Powering the boat is a two-cylinder, 14hp, freshwater-cooled Nanni Diesel with saildrive (Kubota block). Steering is controlled by a tiller at the aft end of the cockpit, connected to the spade rudder via a drag link, allowing for more cockpit space with the tiller positioned on the aft deck.

The cockpit includes removable aft seat sections, enabling the helmsman to stand, along with full cockpit cushions for added comfort.

She has only been day-sailed during the summers from Westport, MA, and stored indoors during the winter months.

The beautiful Rustler 33 combines a traditional-looking hull with a modern underbody, making her a sleek daysailer/weekender. With impressive sailing performance, she is sure to turn heads in the harbour and deliver an exhilarating experience on the water, whether cruising or racing.

Owner’s Comments

I have always owned and enjoyed relatively small, simple daysailers that I can sail on my own. Before the Rustler, I had a Danish-built H-boat. I constantly receive comments on JULIA’s beauty—she truly is an absolute joy to sail.
