Broker’s Comments
Extremely pretty Rustler 24 daysailer. Based on a David Boyd 6-meter design, the Rustler 24 is fun to sail and gorgeous to look at. Beautifully built by Rustler Yachts – one of England’s premier high-quality boat builders – she features a full keel with integral lead ballast, long overhangs, and a keel-hung rudder that gives her excellent tracking. All hardware is high-quality Harken, and the jib furler is an under-deck Bartels unit with a continuous line drive.
Rustler 24 OSPREY has a cockpit cover, an off-white Awlgripped hull (completed in 2025), teak decks, a trailer, fresh varnish on the coamings, and a new Torqeedo electric engine custom-mounted in the lazarette, among other features. This example is hull #25 and was exhibited at the 2010 Maine Boat Show. After several years in Maine, she was purchased and moved to the Chesapeake, where she was kept on a lift in front of the owner’s house. The current owner then purchased her, imported her to Canada, and completed a full cosmetic refit with new hull paint and fresh varnish on the coamings. She has only been sailed a few times since, and the boat looks like new.
- 2015 road trailer.
- 2020 Torqeedo electric inboard, in lazarette.
- Replacement cost for this yacht, with options, would be approximately US$150,000.
This yacht needs nothing and will provide her new owner with years of delightful sailing. Possibly the only Rustler 24 in Canada!
