Broker’s Comments
The Harley 25 captures the unmistakable charm of a classic British motor launch at 25ft. With the renowned Nelson design pedigree from the drawing board of Arthur Mursell of TT Boat Designs, the solid hull construction ensures durability and seaworthiness built to tackle the Solent. The craftsmanship associated with Harley Racing Yachts is evident throughout.
Power comes from a 200hp Volvo Penta AD41P-A engine coupled with a Volvo Penta Duo Prop DP-E stern drive, delivering smooth, confident performance. This engine provides an ideal blend of efficiency and power, allowing the Harley 25 to cruise comfortably at 18 knots while still offering the ability to pick up speed to 25 knots when conditions allow. The responsiveness at the helm makes close-quarters manoeuvring straightforward, while underway she feels stable and reassuringly solid.
The cockpit layout is designed for sociable cruising as a couple or added extras, with good seating and the helm position that offers clear visibility. Below, the space is suitable for day trips or relaxed weekend outings along the coast with the added benefit of a heads!
Owner’s Comments
We have always admired the Nelson motor yachts from the drawing board of Arthur Mursell at TT Boat Designs. Although she is small in size, Gaia feels a proper Nelson in every way, especially when at the helm with her predictable handling and great visibility.
Gaia has been wonderful, a fair turn of speed when needed and a very sea kindly hull form. We have used her mainly as an alternative to the Island ferries between Yarmouth and Lymington as well as enjoying many day trips to Solent destinations and the South Coast beyond, the accommodation making a weekend break or a longer holiday very enjoyable and the cockpit tent effectively creating an extra cabin perfect for dining.
