The Bavaria Cruiser 40 from 2011 is a well-known and highly appreciated cruising model, offering an excellent combination of sailing performance, comfort and practical solutions. The Bavaria Cruiser series was designed to suit both family sailors and long-distance cruisers looking for a yacht with good performance, easy handling and a well-thought-out layout for comfortable living onboard.

With her spacious three-cabin layout and two heads, QUEEN offers a flexible arrangement perfectly suited for family sailing and entertaining guests. The interior is bright and well planned, featuring a generous saloon with plenty of space for socialising and relaxing. The large U-shaped seating area to starboard, together with the additional settee and dining table, creates a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere both while sailing and during longer stays in harbour. The practical galley is positioned to port and provides good working surfaces and ample storage.

Forward, QUEEN offers a spacious owner’s cabin with a comfortable double berth and excellent storage, while the two aft cabins provide additional sleeping accommodation for family and guests. With a total of six berths in three cabins and the saloon, QUEEN is well suited for extended holidays and cruising with several people onboard.

The Bavaria Cruiser 40 is known for being an easy-to-handle and well-balanced yacht with excellent sailing characteristics. Owner’s Comments

We purchased the yacht in 2021 as her third owners and fell in love with her straight away. The modern Farr design, introduced in 2011, still feels as fresh and attractive today. As soon as we stepped into the spacious cockpit, we knew this was a yacht made for sharing with family and friends. There is plenty of room for children, grandchildren and guests, and the large folding bathing platform has been a real asset, making it easy to step on and off the yacht when moored stern-to, as well as providing the perfect place to swim and relax.

We have greatly appreciated the well-designed layout with three spacious cabins, generous storage and two heads. She is equally comfortable when cruising with family and friends as she is for just the two of us, serving as a comfortable holiday home on the water.

We have enjoyed many wonderful cruises along the Swedish west coast and to Denmark. Electric furling systems for both the mainsail and headsail make sail handling easy, while the twin bow thrusters make manoeuvring in harbours effortless. Throughout our ownership, we have maintained the yacht with great care and carried out regular maintenance and upgrades.

It is with mixed emotions that we now offer her for sale, as we feel it is time to pass her on due to our age. We hope her next owners will enjoy her as much as we have and create many wonderful memories on board.
